TEMO

TEMO, a resonating memory temple

Project Description

Hearing music associated with our past often evokes strong feelings and emotions. TEMO, a resonating memory temple, enables users to attach emotional music to cherished objects, appreciating those meaningful moments in their lives. This research-led project is focused on design with emotions. The aim of the project is to build a solid and intimate relationship between users and smart devices. This responds to the current music player designs that are often technology-focused, visually homogenous and emotionally incompatible with user populations. The product is not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also creates an enduring, delightful and engaging nostalgic listening experience.

Here is a short video showing how to activate TEMO to play attached music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLlzzcUvVW4.
